Congressman Bob Good responds to Virginia's COVID-19 vaccine rollout

February 2, 2021

Virginia's 5th Congressional District Representative, Bob Good, is speaking out on Virginia's response to the coronavirus pandemic and vaccine rollout.

Good said he hopes Governor Ralph Northam and his team will get a handle on distribution so vaccinations will happen more rapidly.

He said the issues we are seeing are coming from the state level.

"We can look across the way, just across the border here, West Virginia which is leading the country in distribution of the vaccines while Virginia is one of the worst in the country in that so I certainly hope the Governor and his team will correct that," said Good.

Congressman Good said he will help in any way that he can on the congressional level, but noted that congressional action is not something that can be implemented as quickly as what's already on the ground on the state level.
