Rep. Bob Good Leads Letter Calling on DHS Secretary to Provide Report on Plans to Gain Control of the Biden Border Surge

WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Bob Good (VA-05) and House Republicans sent a letter to Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, requesting a report to Congress that outlines plans to obtain operational control of the border. The letter follows news that the Biden Administration is considering using a U.S. Army facility located in the Commonwealth of Virginia to house Unaccompanied Alien Children.

“President Biden's reckless open borders policies are creating a humanitarian crisis,” said Congressman BobGood. “Instead of recognizing his mistakes and regaining control of the border, the Biden Administration is looking to start shipping unaccompanied minors across the country. I urge the Biden Administration to stop pandering to dangerous open border advocates and provide rationale for creating a crisis that now threaten our safety, our economy, and the health of our citizens.”
