Rep. Good Congratulates 2021 Congressional Art Competition Winner

WASHINGTON U.S. Representative Bob Good (VA-05) recently recognized the 2021 Congressional Art Competition winner at a reception held in Lynchburg, Virginia. The first-place winner Diem Trinh’s artwork, titled Face Behind the Mask, will hang in the Cannon Tunnel in the U.S. Capitol.

“The Congressional Art Competition allows students to share their unique talents and creativity with the community,” said Congressman Bob Good. “It was my privilege to congratulate and award first-place to Diem Trinh who attends Jefferson Forest Highschool in Bedford County. I’m encouraged by the talent displayed in all of the entries this year.”

This year’sart competition judges were Professor Joshua Wilson and Professor Craig Phillips, both from Liberty University School of Communications and the Arts, along with Art Teacher Somer Floyd from Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy.
